TT-Lines färja NILS DACKE är troligen någonstans mellan Trelleborg och Rostock just nu men har inte sänt AIS (lagkrav) sedan 17 april. Så varken vi eller båtar runtom vet.

Well we have quite a few tracks by now of anchor drag incidents (which is my first haystack needle) that could be used.
And I aim for an alert, not a certainty. The certain comes with manual inspection and crossmatching to data from a variety of sources, eg news about issues in media or on sites.
Have not decided yet! But system so far works only on behavior. And will be local to me only.
I can filter pretty good for already known qualities/identities on the commercial services.

positions, yes, certainly. I am not too sure of the data quality though. From previous projects I know it to be poor.

Last 24h 4 of 5 Russia-affiliated tankers passed Bornholm to the north, putting them closer to Swedish authorities and for some even inside Swedish territory.
This is just a proof of concept and the ferry did not pull a cable. Something else caused them to slow down.

The pattern of Russia-affiliated tankers avoiding hostile south Baltic Swedish waters have strengthened.
No outbound tankers has passed north of Bornholm since Sat and today inbound tankers started showing the same pattern.
This is brand new behavior, at least since Jan 1 2026.
