My brain feels like it's full of cotton wool again

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Toby is no doubt a great composer but the sensory assault of ACC's original tracks (combined with the sparse visuals and super lo-fi presentation) felt like looking deep into the eyes of a beast emerging from the oaken bookshelves in my childhood home

Few people now will experience the sheer revelation of downloading a sketchy zip that barely looked like a video game and getting plunged headfirst into a dead world doing its best to pretend it was still alive.

Incredibly mixed feelings about the OFF Switch release. Playing a fan translation of it as a (way too young) kid was a deeply formative experience for me as an artist

On the emperor’s head is a golden crown with a golden egg. In the emperor’s right hand he holds a golden scepter with a Dr Pepper Zero Sugar can at the top. In the emperor’s left hand he holds a golden orb. Both hands have only 4 fingers and the finger nails are painted yellow. 3 California King snakes crawl towards the emperor at the foot of his throne, one snake crawls up his leg and the other two crawl up the side of the throne. Mountains are in the back ground and so are clouds and one river. The river winds behind the throne. From the clouds rain ladders that lead to the heavens. One of the rained ladders lands on the shoulder of the emperor.
