Sad face. I've noticed you can actually get at lot from both the UK and US Amazon, but batteries, and a series of 3rd party Amazon vendors don't. I tend to use trips abroad as an opportunity to stock up on stuff I can't easily get here.

I can certainly understand that concern. The US does seem to have a long way to go before acceptable charging networks are widely available. It’s almost as if there’s some sort of systemic opposition.. ;)

Its a constantly moving window from people who arr not willing to accept change.

Also, most people don’t make those kinds of treks, I’d wager.

For sure, charging networks are more scarce in the US, but when you can get from Chicago to Winnipeg with 4 charging stops (1400+ km) I think it should at least be explored and not discarded out of hand.

This. My current car has 800V and charges from 10 to 80% in 15 minutes. Also; the only time I have ever done that was once — just to test it. It has never been an actual need.

Honestly, that’s just a theoretical thing — it’s not actually a practical concern. I have had four EVs over the past decade and only had range anxiety ONCE (and that was with a loaner I didn’t know). Everything about EVs are better than ICE cars; the drive is smooth, charging is easy. Do it :)

They have replaced my former need to perform additional battery mods to my Gameboy devices. These are so good.
