During national emergency that is EXACTLY what government can do. AND I never suggested steal the oil from Big Oil — it could be bought by government at same price paid for barrels from ME and sold at UK pumps, etc. The aim is to secure oil and gas for UK economy during current crisis.

Can PM Starmer answer this? If UK sold none of daily Brent crude oil & natural gas from N.Sea on world markets but instead used it to support UK economy in this Chump-induced resources disaster, what % of UK's daily needs would be covered? Could shortfall be made up by buying from Norway?
