The New Age of Plush Filth sounds like a great book title. Anyone who lived through the old age knows exactly the sensory melange that is plush filth.

New views triggering old memories of the excitement and interest (awe?) when I first perceived mountains and plains on the moon as a kid. Love this.
Sigh - it's the Pisces-last time of year. Everyone has their turn, but still...
Andres Galaraga
Good read. Great science.
Expecting him to work in a few words he's never said before to feed some friends in the prediction markets, but also, he will mispronounce one or more (having never said them before). This prediction I make not for money, but for ephemeral bluesky glory.
Sincerely, that reminder is something I needed for some community organizing stuff I'm working on. Tip of the hat ...
Imagine these posts collected and leatherbound and then cited by future supreme court justice Mr. Beast.
I used to think topside parties on luxury yachts would be scintillating exchanges and now, well...
Damn, i think i have all of those at this moment.
Heart of Romaine slime - does that count?
Trying it out.
Oh no.
Maybe try those one at a time.
Do i call police or DOT to get me off this exit sign on the 405?
Look at Frogg Toggs. The inexpensive ones I got are a pants and jacket set that are meant to go over other clothes.
A curved curb in a parking lot has a segment of curb offset from the rest.
A panoramic photo centered on a flapole shows the buildings of the USGS campus in Menlo Park. No people or cars are visible.
A red street curb is offset from its neighbors.
Looking across a street in a park the curbs are offset and there are cracks consistent with shearing.
A rounds, brass USGS benchmark shows 1994 ft above sea level
Then I went to the closed down Menlo Park office of the USGS. Very deserted, eerie and cool to see. The outdoor rock specimens have been removed (a good thing). The benchmark was emblematic.
... crappy municipal maintenance - but it was cool to see. This really is a great place to see plate tectonics writ small. A lot of the f a mous curb offsets, etc in Berkeley have been fixed because, well, people need to walk and drive on straight roads.
I went on a small self-guided Bay Area geology tour today. I went to Fremont Central Park to see the Hayward fault creep. An internet guide guided me to some curb offsets and echelon cracks, which you can see in the photos. It may seem like an inside joke, and this could equally be explained by
Yes! His thing is just saying "I'm rich" If I'm generous, he helped renovate a skating rink once. That is if I (or anyone) is extremely generous.
It was always a cruel system. Swiss children of millionaires got in easily because of low numbers of applicants. Indonesians with problematic names - no chance. I thought they got rid of this a couple years ago. I submitted for my husband at least ten times. That being said, K. Noem is residue.
And the mom, in a subliminal 3 frames at the end of the movie.
Wow, feels like three wolves howling at the moon on a t-shirt. Maybe a little too much, but I like it.
Thank you ❤️
Dr. Oz's doctorate is in home economics - it's all really just a matter of keeping an eye on those pennies (and penises).
"Remember, with my 51 percent stake you get my connections in the fake pubic hair and tweed jacket spaces - you won't get that from anyone else here."
Sounds like something from a George Saunders short story.
I'ts worth the couple quarters to play, because at home, laying the monitor down at just below waist height so you can push up against that short end is a real hassle.
As long as the balloon animals are properly cooked, there is minimal chance of worms.
And yet the love among live bats is something that feels hard, but warm. "We appreciate you that have died, but it is you, my living, flapping kin, that makes my each echolocation chirp a binding ping of love."

Yes, yes - the situation in familiar. Oh, it's not me - but I know him. He's a doll.
Knowing they are called "feeder crickets", that's good enough. I'd be calling them "some crickets for your lizard - for their, um, food."
