Lovely day at Ryland Caravan at the Mac in the (very hot) sunshine yesterday. The Tubs, Miki Berenyi, Stuart Murdoch and all the other bands were great.

It's 36 years since I first saw the Pixies (Brighton, Top Rank, 1989). 36 years later they still sound great. The support Big Special were great tonight too.

At the @hareandhounds.bsky.social tonight the @benefitstheband.bsky.social put on the best live set I have seen this year. Absolutely brilliant. And the support, Hang Linton, was great too.

Went out to see Ferocious Dog in Birmingham tonight. They put on such a good show. Great music and great crowd.

It really was. Two great bands in an intimate venue. Seen a few really good, newish bands there this year already. I am lucky to live just a 20 minute walk from the H&Hs.
