Favorite protagonist: Atelier Sophie. Favorite antagonist: Breath of Fire IV. Best soundtrack: Trials of Mana. Best multiplayer: Kirby Air Riders. Not usually my thing, but: Pokemon Pokopia. Turn my brain off: Picross S. Best with friends: Crash Team Racing. Best retro game: Legend of Dragoon. Nostalgic childhood game: Kingdom Hearts. Game everyone should play: Night in the Woods.

Did one of these! Legend of Mana could easily have taken a few other spots, but I tried to keep it interesting.

I found a How to Draw Birds book in my partner's mom's basement and have been using it for practice. It's honestly terrible for a beginner: too few steps, and very inconsistent between them.

I'm curious to see how long this turns out to be. I'm working from a 50k-word first draft (yeah, an old NaNo draft) but about 17k of that is a chapter I may cut or at least radically alter. But I'm looking to add another three chapters, too. So. 🤷‍♂️

#13: Weathering With You (2019). A rewatch of my favourite Shinkai, which I hadn't seen since it was first in theatres. Maybe the messiest of his modern trilogy, but it's so emotionally raw and powerful. Also, watched the dub this time! It's good!
