it's weird that "larp" has somehow become synonymous with "poser" among a particular type of exclusionary loser when actual larp is one of more hardcore dork activities going, really. people who larp are extremely in it for love of the game you don't exactly get into that to appear cool lol

I know this all sounds kind of vague and wishy-washy, but throwing in the towel is exactly what the people making the world worse want everyone to do. Self-care is super important right now, whether it being more exercise, eating better, going outside more, or just general unplugging.

Furthermore, I know there's a lot of people fighting against them in different fashions as well as people working to improve the world also in a number ways as well that may or not be connected to the previously mentioned enemies.

I don't need to know them, because I now they're there.

My enemies may have more money and power than I do, but I know they're dumber than I am by a country mile. Also probably lazier too. Not to mention as far as I know, they are all older than me by a grand margin and are running out of time on this planet.

And that's something they can't buy more of.

Brand/genre fatigue used to be accompanied by people actively deciding to avoid thing, but due to the modern age of fandom and FOMO fatigue now takes the form of harsher criticism and louder complaining because people are unwilling to go without despite being tired of it.

I strongly encourage people feeling too much of The Doom to emotionally regulate themselves, very deliberately, if you start dipping into the despair. Being overwhelmed can quickly turn into learned helplessness and we absolutely need people to do what they can to positively impact what they can
