Great night at the library listening to a very entertaining talk with @stephmcgovern.bsky.social and @bobfischer.bsky.social. Both lovely people who very kindly put up with my rambling nonsense after the event :D

Picked up a CPAP machine from the respiratory nurse today. Going to show sleep apnea that it ain't the boss of me! Also worried the cats will try and sleep on the device. If you have cats then you know that obviously I didn't need to use the word "try"!
This list is not exhaustive and may be added to over time.
We all have our own battles going on, some big, some small but lets just try and have as good a day as we can :)
5 - If you hold views different to me then I will respect that as long as you are being civilized. The only way we can grow is by talking to each other. Likewise If I post something you don't agree with, lets converse about it. I am open to discourse.
3 - If someone is a mythological creature living under a bridge trying to attract goats for its supper, I will not engage, I will block.
4 - I will try to add Alt-Text to images I post but if I forget then please point it out kindly so I can rectify. Mistakes can happen but are not intentional.

I saw their age, saw Russian, and the first thing I thought was that if this wasn't from a long running well documented medical reason then something was going to be "curious" about it.
Sending Samson all the positive energy I can. Our little girl has to go in for an operation at the vets at the start of next month and that is nerve wracking, I know when I have to leave her there for the day I am going to be in bits until she is safe at home again. Hope all goes well :)

one of the reasons bluesky works differently is because early users waged a successful fight to get the devs to prioritize safety features to protect communities at risk
as a result bluesky now has a suite of controls that i think are unmatched on social media

I mean the block function here is rather good... it would be worth it just for the satisfaction of knowing they had wasted their time
