I definitely think paying attention to the news cycle is causing me a teeny bit of depression. Literally every time I look up, something else in this country is being destroyed. And, there are people cheering it on, as if this type of tyranny can be contained. Like it won’t land on their doorstep.

Between this and the video of the lady throwing a hot grill at someone’s back, I think it’s safe to say people have lost their minds. Like, what kind of a rage do you have to be in to throw a whole freezer or hot grill at somebody??

I had to ask myself, has there been a multi-millionaire activist? Is it possible to attain a high level of wealth while also providing resources & building community? Like, I want the money to build the homes, build the schools, build the store-for my community. Not to live high on the hog. Ya know?

Currently gearing up to be as self sustaining as possible. Grow a little food. Bake a little bread. Figure out a lane of income that is not tied to the corporate world, and enough to build the life I want to build. Nothing extravagant, but enough for my community to thrive.

I crack myself up. I sign up for these platforms, use them a bit, and then just fade to the background. I’m going to challenge myself to post more. Because we are living through insanely historic times, and I want to add my voice.

I’m confused. I’m seeing reports that Al Green filed articles of impeachment against Dodo. They majority of Congress voted to TABLE it. So, are they just setting it to the side for now because they know Repubs were gonna all vote against it or were they voting against moving to impeach him at all?

i wish my community could get to a point where we can admit that people can do good things while also having a track record of being predatory towards others. like you can be charitable as hell and a whole creep at the same time. the good doesn't make the bad disappear.
