But should Robbins have compromised knowing Mandelson's past?
I don't think anyone comes out of this well.

McSweeney thought it was a weeze to get Mandelson a job to massage Trump's swollen ego.
A stupid idea that should have gone nowhere will now bring down a Prime Minister
A huge, unnecessary own goal.
A cunning plan worthy of Baldrick.

Agrément appears to be the political word of the day.

Souness skinned!
It was almost impossible to keep up with Mark Chamberlain in his pomp.
The great Alan Hudson in the background.

Don't agree.
If he was going to go, it was on the original poor judgement.
Not as if ms Abbot hasn't messed her potentially glittering career up with bad judgement, eh? 😏

I agree there but the questions now being asked foltow muddled allegations that Starmer new Mandelson failed vetting. He has every right to be angry and I would draw that conclusion whoever was PM.

Was #Badenoch asking security questions when Johnson slipped his security and went to visit a Russian oligarch? #Starmer

Strong statement from Starmer, I think.

Why do some American golf fans embarrass themselves with the constant, and boring USA chant? I just saw footage of Matt Fitzpatrick being subjected to it while lining up a shot and then smiling as he won his play off yesterday.

I am friends with someone - not a Stoke fan - who at my age is keen to travel across the country to home and away games. He lives miles from the club he supports. I just can't summon up or justify that level of fandom in my early sixties. Is that normal?

I was 13 and so probably know more about this team than any other I have ever watched. I am always amazed - not sure I'm envious - of those who can keep the teenage level of fandom as they get older.

There's a fella on 606 who wants Arteta replaced by Southgate.
Arsenal fans are always whining.

I had the derby match at 1-1, so was looking good until the very end.

Ah well, at least Arsenal lost.

It was just dire. Players missing tackles repeatedly and the main issue seemed to be senior players.

Final whistle, thankfully #SalvSar

78 points conceded in 67 minutes. Complete humiliation.

The 7th was an utter disgrace.

Graeme Fowler's bat from a 100 against the West Indies at Lords. Compare and contrast with the huge chunks of wood players use now.

Shocking from Sale. A catalogue of errors and mainly from senior players.
Like my football team yesterday, players already on holiday

I'm not a huge Oasis fan but Rock and Roll Star is a cracking choice for Sale Sharks to run out to.

Brewdog started out claiming they were different. There then came scandal and now it has ended with a trail of unpaid bills.

Jos Gilmore, 20, makes his first start in the Prem today for Sale Sharks. He began playing rugby as a six-year-old at Sandbach. The flanker has big boots to fill, deputising for England and British Lions star Tom Curry who started off just down the road from Sandbach at Crewe & Nantwich.

Result. Complicated promotion play off system means there's up to 4 games to go

Ok.

I also asked about qualifications and employment history but you ignored that.

if that is an achievement, and I don't think it is, then that's Robins, not Walters. I'd say a Sporting Director is there to make big changes.
