We piloted Project Care UK, a self-compassion intervention for adolescents aged 13–18, with girls and LGBTQ+ youth. Most participants discovered the programme through trusted organisations like Kooth and GiveUsAShout.

Sophie Dallison is busy preparing for her qualitative study in South Africa, exploring cultural adaptations to a single-session intervention for young people. She is conducting a scoping review on including the global majority youth in research on digital self-help mental health for her PhD.
Natalia Kika has wrapped up her 'Can We Connect with Parents' interview study and is in the depths of thematic analysis. She'll be using this data to design her own self-help program for parents of adolescents with depressive symptoms, helping them to help their teens

Emma Chubb is now launching 'Can We Connect with LGBTQIA+ Young People', an interview study exploring where LGBTQIA+ young people (aged 13 - 19) look for mental health support online and what they think of what's available. This will aid her future PhD work in adapting a self-help program.
