I say all this to say, yes... we all lived through the "WAR ON DRUGS" and we talk about all the casualties- overdoses, violent crime deaths, related communicable diseases NOT limited to just HIV/AIDS, the incarceration etc... but don't forget we were *witnesses*- some ppl are VETERANS and SURVIVORS

He battled that addiction and at a point after prison and being saved he decided to go into ministry. And succeeded. He was at times a prison and hospital chaplain. His meeting ppl where they were at- even the streets/trap let to AME's church first HIV outreach programs. He saved ppl.
