War can have big environmental impacts, in addition to the human and economic impacts.

Large oil spills caused by US, Israeli, and Iranian attacks on energy resource facilities won't simply disappear when the war ends.

Good visual reminder that war not only has large human and economic costs, it can have environmental impacts as well.

My fear is that he is making decisions on what he does so it accomplishes this. We still don’t know his war motive, but there certainly will be some hidden personal perceived gain. To move something time wise is bad enough, but to do it for that reason is beyond unconscionable.

Warsh said story was wrong, reporters had bad sources. OK...but what about Trump's *public statements* saying that was a requirement for the job?

Warsh hearing so far has been kind of frustrating. No one has asked the questions that seem most relevant to me:
1) is Trump's criminal investigation into Powell appropriate?
2) what would you do if Trump threatened retribution against you if he didn't like your actions/Fed policy decisions?
