Democrats see Georgia's failure to curb data centers as an electoral gift Georgia lawmakers have ended their legislative session without addressing concerns over data centers.

"Cyndie Hutchings, another activist, said opposition to data centers has the potential to swing elections ...
'They tell me that they are lifelong Republican voters, but this has changed the way they’re looking at everything.'"

Kids tomorrow are never even going to learn about the unprecedented bevy of corruption within this family and administration. If they even get a footnote.

My 17th and 18th books will release this year 🖤

One novel to make you shudder and one novel to make you cry, and both up for pre-order now—that's how we roll around here, bay-bee 😘

It's going to be a wild year of horror fiction.

Like every pair of pants I owned in middle/high school were either cut-off bottoms or rolled up and rolls were NOT CUTE back in the day. Fucking safety pins everywhere. Stitch-witching the hell out of shit.

Listen. I can’t sew. I’ve tried. I’m shit. I was a pro costumer. You did not want me to mend your costume. You don’t want to see what I did to fix the waistbands on my favorite, impossible-to-replace pajamas. I nearly lost a hand sewing an eyeglass case in middle school. Vest ain’t happening.

I have a gripe: as soon as wide-leg came back in fashion, brands started making pants/jeans longer too and that’s not ok. I didn’t get taller, bro. My short-ass legs can’t wear all that. There’s like a yard of extra fabric in there. What am I supposed to do, sew a matching vest?

Yeah, true. But then what do I watch when that’s over? (I watch too much TV and I like it)

I was nearly kidnapped by a woman at the roller rink as a child.

More episodes lets people discover a show, get invested in a show, and maintain a subscription rather than canceling every time their fav 10-ep show ends. It’s like how studios preference opening weekend box office but then a long-tail release will build week after week and blow their minds.

Also it is super easy to get like 50 yards into the not-public part of Vatican City before the Swiss Guard realize you’re just a couple of random American girls and turn you around.

Los Angeles Bluesky, I need your help. I just learned that on Saturday at the protest at the downtown Metropolitan Detention Center, a friend’s 18-year-old son was shot in the eye with a pepper ball by DHS, permanently blinding him. He needs justice. If you were there and saw anything, please… 1/5

This is definitely one of the more egregiously impulsive things I’ve ever done.

Like you don’t even need to know the secret handshake to do confession at the Vatican. You tell the guy at the railing between the tourists and the booths that you’re a Catholic and boom, go pick yourself out a confessor.

Yep. All that.

Above all it’s party over Pope. They’re Republicans first.

This really is the thing about right-American Catholicism. It wants to be its own continental religion separate from Europe. Which is to say they’re not Roman Catholics. They’re costume Catholics. They like the tradition and set dressings because it’s all very proper. Not so much the actual rules.

Ok someone come explain it to me.

For accounts that require usernames (outside social media handles), I recommend you do not use the same one over and over. Just as you do not use the same password across accounts, we should not be using the same username either, when possible.
