In mobile game naming conventions there's a clear tug towards either '[Present Participle of a Verb] [Noun]', '[Noun] of [Noun]' or '[Verb] of [Noun]'.

The big one-oh. She had an absolute hoot today and, fingers crossed, they’ll all sleep the night through.
If you went along to Play Praxis yesterday then you might well have seen my little game poem (Shipwreck) on the big screen.
Here’s the wider jam entries, if you’re interested in seeing the whole selection for the event.

Jupiter, Rhys, Liam and I
Pocket Gamer/Digipals/BigBossBattle/IndieGamePlus car pool for #newgameplus today. Had a hoot, great to see everyone and lovely to see such a strong showing of games.
We are at #NewGamesPlus!
I’ll be in town tomorrow for #NewGamePlus. Quite looking forward to it after passing on GDC earlier on in the year.
Would be good to catch up with people - feel free to grab me and say hi if you spot me.
If one of the reasons you follow me is because of Digipals/EOLM or one of the sites (IGP, B3), then good news!
@indiegamesplus.com - is now posting to socials.
@bigbossbattle.com - is also posting AND is experimenting with covering news (which will mean we won't hold back content to build cadence)
Only picture in my life where I look taller than 5"4.
What isn't mentioned here is that this place had a great soda/drink selection and wasn't just the Coke or Pepsi range; Felt like somebody had actually been inventive restaurant flavours & had actually done some innovating over the last 40 yeas.
This looks like a ball, torn in two and pulled apart, inside are orbs that look like faces, or items, in five rows.
Close up of some pink blossom, clear blue sky in the background
Close up of one fo the happiest faces on the aforementioned sculpture. Next to it is a ball with a smaller face, it is covered in circles, making it look like some kind of sponge or possibly a pufferfish/sea-mine situation
Narrow shot of violet flowers, a row of trees behind, clear blue sky beyond.
Went for a little morning walk yesterday and happened to pass my favourite sculpture (doesn't it look like an inventory gimmick from a game?).
Went along to a local #panto this morning, where Robin was selected to go on stage to preform! It was a fantastic time. #beautyandthebeast #local #hertfordshire
Debug 14 front cover
A two-page spread on Schildmaid MX
One page review, Cairn, opposite an Into The Grid review.
Menace review. I gave it a five star because I'm a sucker for it.
I'm back in print again, this time for Debug #14!
Grab a copy to read my reviews of Cairn (@thegamebakers.com), Into The Grid (@flatlinestudios.bsky.social) & Menace (@overhypestudios.bsky.social).
Those reviews were joined by an ICYMI feature on @hitpstudio.bsky.social's Schildmaid MX!

I should probably talk about it a bit more: Submissions for exhibitors (50 spaces, free booths) are open. We've announced three partners and are looking for more. If you've a couple of quid & want to help a cool event then hmu
Been having a productive week so far:
Sorted automation for Facebook and BSky posting for B3; Did media partner outreach for BITs '26 (Register your interest in exhibiting now!) and entered a Flickgame, poetry themed game jam.

Tulip farm today w Jupiter & the kiddos. Didn’t realise that there were quite so many Tulip varieties!
Jupiter at K-BBQ, lots of food… cooking
Cocktail arrangement, garnishes, shakers, three different sized glasses and an ice bucket
Willows over a river on a clear day
Cambridge market from above, church spires and industry pock the horizon
Lovely, much needed, break (w/ K-BBQ, Gin Mixing, etc) in Cambridge with @jupiterhadley.com
Surprise! I’m at #Dreamhack!
Would love to hear your thoughts on this also, once you’ve played it. It’s perhaps my favourite game of the last decade… although I do (as in any political game) have a habit of getting assassinated or killed.
Shiny Kriketot
1984 moment here as I caught my first wild shiny in weeks. Am back on the wagon.
a trodden muddy path leads through blooming bushes near an industrial unit
A swan swimming near a sign that reads "Man may come and go, but the river goes on"
An abandoned bicycle against a tree, mixture of dead and alive grasses alive and in front. A chalk board saying "I hope you never fit in" off to the left.
I like the angle on this one. River in the foreground, but little enough of it that it shows reflections of the tree, but could just be a lake or pond. Tents are around the largest, foreground tree, while other tree varieties make it look like the edge of a woodland despite blue skies clearly visible behind, inferring a lack of depth.
Some photos from a little walk earlier
Big issue with recent book adaptations seems to be that they shift the audience perspective. In this case I think we were meant to relate with the religious chap but they were a non-character.
Also the value of the inheritance seems to change half a dozen times, including on this poster!
Text reads: "Robin is a wonderful performer. She is capable of taking on a variety of different characters with ease, and she always shines when she is on stage. Robin has a super-clear delivery, she uses her voice excellently in her character work and whilst she is singing too, which is fantastic! "
Absolutely lovely feedback from the youngest's producer for the last term. I say it often, but I can't believe how confident and capable my kids are - I was a nervous wreck as a child. So proud of her, and her brother and sister.
Considering the chaos that adventurers can do with a bucket, rope and a bag of ball-bearings, I still don’t understand why you’d give them wide (ie not hyper-specific) magic spells… it’s just asking for chaos.
We rubbed a cliff edge in butter then tricked 10 gnolls to their death today.
Just put “ah, ah, ah” (as required) before it, as though you have a sneeze caught. Easy.
I’ve never seen a farce in person, so this was super fun.
Happy Birthday to @jupiterhadley.com - world traveller, loving partner and all-around amazing person.
A gull, from below. You can see through its feathers due to clear sky. Clear blue sky behind.
Just a goose, on one leg, standing about 50cm into a man-made pond. Reeds/brush behind, a block of flats in the distance.
Swapped out my camera, so did some tinkering around with the settings when we popped out in the brief break between rainclouds today.
Omg, I happened to go to the same place and with the one I love!
Happy to be back in print again. If you pick up the latest edition of @debugmag.com then you can read my thoughts on @q-games.com's Dreams of Another as well as an ICYMI on the fantastic Death Road to Canada (from @madgarden.bsky.social & @rocketcatgames.bsky.social )
