We have a chance of removing the Online Safety Act!

Any UK residents, PLEASE take the time to fill out the whole form. If we want to remove ID verification on websites that actually don't need it, we need to take action NOW!

[alt text by NASA] The Moon, seen here backlit by the Sun during a solar eclipse on April 6, 2026, is photographed by one of the cameras on the Orion spacecraft’s solar array wings. Orion is visible in the foreground on the left. Earth is reflecting sunlight at the left edge of the Moon, which is slightly brighter than the rest of the disk. The bright spot visible just below the Moon’s bottom right edge is Saturn. Beyond that, the bright spot at the right edge of the image is Mars. Credit: NASA

Whoa 🤯

The Moon, in full eclipse, with the #Artemis II Orion spacecraft. Part of the Moon and spacecraft are lit by Earthshine, and both Saturn and Mars are visible to the lower right. Incredible. Details: images.nasa.gov/details/art0...

there's just no way that strange women lying in ponds distributing swords could be even half as bad as this

Happy birthday!!! Dystopian Haikyuu!! will always be a favourite of mine, because it was the first of yours I read and it's so good. Also everything with the Hualesbians of course. Your Scum villian real world threadfics were also excellent! Your awareness of character is sooooo good. Much respect!

Went for a walk and played on the swings for a bit today. It didn't fix anything, but it did give me the motivation to water my plants and air out my flat

I'm on a creativity rollercoaster
Day 1: I watch something so good it hurts that I'm not making stuff
Day 2: want to make stuff but feel like I will never have anything to say
Day 3: get sick and do nothing for a week
Day 10: watch something so good it fills me with energy for creativity
See Day 2

Of course it's beautiful outside every day until today, the day that I have to leave the house. Now it's chilly ominous fog day

When someone says „Scientists do not want you to know“ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.

Sometimes I think I might be clever enough to have been a code breaker in the war, and then I struggle to get through a crossword and think maybe not

It's too early to say how it is not having a uterus, but not having a massive cyst has been excellent

The city cut transit service on all the buses I can take home and now they stop before midnight on fucking Saturdays. My usual bus stops at 10pm!!!!

I feel very validated for all of my previous suffering now that I've read my surgeon's procedure notes. I had uterine fibroids, a multicystic ovary of significant size, a bunch of stuff stuck together, and deep infiltrating endometriosis

I am no longer the proud owner of a uterus. I am in pain a bit and very tired, but hopefully things will be easier from here

It was incredibly satisfying to delete my endo meds alarm. I'll need new medication of course, but I won't need to take dienogest ever again. Thanks for the service, I'm glad to be free of my alarm overlord!

Today is the last full day I have to deal with my uterus and related problems. I'm so excited to be able to lie on my stomach and to not have to worry about looking vaguely pregnant in tight clothes

Guys. In 2016, I had pelvic surgery and now, in a week, I'm having pelvic surgery again. 10 year glow up is losing the rest of my reproductive system 😋

I am thoroughly enjoying your stewing adventures so far, so I'm excited for your future potato discoveries!

Your stew seems like a great potato experiment platform! In my experience, yellow flesh starchy potatoes tend to disintegrate very quickly, russets have enough starch to mash well, but can usually survive stewing, and red skinned potatoes are not usually great for mash but hold up well in liquid
