Kaltiala's inpatient unit found tying kids down with bed sheets, illegal searches and surveillance etc. "We just don't want young people to kill themselves".
The journalist hasn't looked up the unit's past issues, which she had a totally different set of excuses for.

That looks like it’s not per month, but per year. Still insane though
How can they “lose” a police report? Aren’t those things digital? This is Finland ffs
I think TGEU actually updated recently their map to better reflect the reality in Finland. I remember looking at it recently and being surprised (I’d say pleasantly, but nothing about it is pleasant).
"Dr. Riitta, you are here in Australia advocating for exposing the dangers of gender ideology.."
This is an interview for The Australian Christian Lobby, the kind of objective science communication trans activists are infamous for opposing.

Get MAGA money out of the EU! EUA vão-se foder!!!
The American society of plastic surgeons has no issue with the tend of thousands of minors getting nose jobs and other cosmetic surgery but they decided that they want to support bans on trans youth care and align with Trump's EO rather actual medical science

This is interesting insight, as someone who is a vet tech. Seems like a relatively straight forward problem to solve, pet sitting services already exist and I could see this being a service offered. The free part, I don’t know about how that might be achieved
Just, like, I see petroleum and coal as resources that could be used better than burning it, which is wasteful. But all the discourse I see is "Don't ever mine it or use it again"
And I'm just like "Why, the majority of the problem is burning it, not that it exists as a resource."+
It's cool that we're speedrunning the 2000s because it means we're about 5 minutes away from a global financial crash
It is funny how Canada, Europe and other countries went all in on sanctioning Russia the moment they stepped foot in Ukraine (As they should) but no a single country is saying a single word to sanction the US for illegally overthrowing the government of Venezuela under false pretences.
It’s almost as if we tried this before and it didn’t work!
Free, Free South America.
Countries that Donald Trump, the dangerous fool who thinks he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize, has illegally bombed:
Iran.
Nigeria.
Afghanistan.
Iraq.
Libya.
Pakistan.
Somalia.
Syria.
Yemen.
Venezuela.
It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.
The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.
That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.
Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, denounces that the US military attack has the main objective of taking over the Venezuela's natural resources, which was corroborated by Trump during his latest press conference. #VenezuelaInvasion
A meme with two men standing on the street. Another one of them is leaning back and protecting himself with his hands in front of him. On top of him a text: "me trying to live a quiet life" Another man is holding a knife and it seems like he is about to attack the other guy. On top of him the text: "another major historic event"

What we have produced is one interview, which Sapir got first and had discussed with Kaltiala beforehand. Surely everything above-board there.
Finland deserves a UK-level reputation, and I really wish I could make that happen bc that's how you get things done in Finland: get condemned abroad.
Before visiting Australia last month, Kaltiala gave an interview on her opposition to puberty blockers, the banning of which Joyce has spoken of as valuable as the first step in the attack on trans rights.
Reportedly the visit was empowerong to the local anti-trans movement.
That’s what Finland wants people outside to believe. Of course, Finland is leagues better than the US in terms of education, social services (which do not exist in any meaningful way here), among many things. My Finnish teacher (who lives here) half-jokingly calls the US a 3rd world country.
Ominous how little attention this is getting in U.S. media. This is the first English-language (UK) coverage I've seen of Epstein's influential role as a back-channel facilitator of communication & anti-democratic strategizing between the most powerful & wealthy people & organizations in the world.
Yes, states have the rights to arrest ICE agents and tried them. Under the Second Amendment, states can resist illegal tyranny with “well regulated militias.”
