A beautiful, old (over 100 years old) building and a fantastic tasting to end our journey to Walla Walla, WA. @corlissestate makes great wines and we had an awesome experience tasting with Kyndra. The beauty in the cork chair is my favorite wine tasting partner @randifeigin. The chair was WAY more…
On Saturday, had a really pleasant surprise while tasting the Bledsoe McDaniels wines in the @bledsoefamilywinery tasting room in downtown Walla Walla. Not only was our host Tabitha an amazing host, but the wines were phenomenal! Truly outstanding, who expected that @drewbledsoe and…

A bit off the beaten path, out in the wheat fields of Walla Walla, @reynvaanwine makes amazing wines. When you get to taste with the Winemaker it is always an enlightening and educational experience. Thank you to @mattreynvaan for hosting us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the tasting.
An amazing tour and tasting yesterday morning at @abejawineryinn . Beautiful property, we had such a great host! Alex was so knowledgeable about the history of the property and the family. Great experience, great wines and the food pairings made it even more special.

Brought these 2 incredible wines to dinner last night with friends. 2015 @wayfarerwine Pinot Noir Wayfarer Vineyard and 2006 @larkmeadvineyards Solari. Both were epic in their own way. Sadly my last bottle of 2006 Solari, guess I will have to start drinking the 2008s. @asarestaurants food was as…
I don't drink Nero d'Avola often enough. Every time I do, I am reminded of the beauty, grace, and fruitfulness of this incredible wine. So enjoyable, if you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and find some to drink. It is a serious pleaser with great QPR! 2016 @gulficantina Sicilia Nerosanlorè.
A couple of great bottles to share. Monday was a 2005 @ChMontelena Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, filtered and decanted, with many years left. Tuesday the fantastic 2013 @occidentalwines Pinot, Bodega Headlands Cuvee Elizabeth @catekistler. Such a beautiful wine. With @randifeigin
3 great wines last night. First up was a 2013 @tablascreek Esprit de Tablas Blanc, followed by 2014 @faillawines Pinot Noir Hirsch Vineyard, then finishing with the 2005 @chateau_barde_haut Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. This Barde-Haut definitely benefitted from decanting through a fine mesh filter.
btw @wajali.bsky.social love following you and your posts, but as a Giants fan living in bay area and watching 49ers every week, this post struck a nerve.
You are right but people in glass houses... Aren't you a niner's fan? They last won a super bowl in 1994. So yes, the Giants are a dumpster fire and have been since last time they won with Eli in 2011. Bottom line unless your team makes playoffs and WINS last game it plays, then it doesn't matter.
Just found you here, glad some of my favorite sports follows are coming over, especially you and BBV. Any of the other writers here too?
Looking forward to drinking these wines tonight with friends. 2018 Michèle Luyton Hermitage Blanc. 2017 @nicolas.champagneux Côte-Rôtie Les Grands Places , and finally the 2015 @clarkclaudon Cabernet Sauvignon Estate. I am sure these will all be amazing, I am decanting the reds for max enjoyment
