I was just thinking earlier today about how "Gouge Away" is one of the best album closing tracks of all time. An infrequently talked about category.

Everybody Wang Chung tonight!
It would feel a little out of character for William Daniels.
It's like when Ms. Teevee turns to one of the other parents after Wonka plays the musical lock and confidentially says "Rachmaninoff," identifying the composer, but it's actually Mozart.
From winners one week on MTV's TWELVE ANGRY VIEWERS to an album unavailable on a lot of streaming services. Feel bad for these guys because it's a solid album.
Enjoying the Pope & George Fox lined up opposite J.D. Vance.

Friend speaks my mind from several years ago.
Finished LONESOME DOVE yesterday. I really liked it, though I have a lot of hesitations about it too. Going to be thinking through those for awhile. All said, a really engaging book especially once you reach part two.
I really dislike how even on very special day when families are together and trying to live and be happy this absolute goofball needs to be in the middle of it dancing around like an idiot like the Judge in Blood Meridian
It's been almost 20 years since his last new studio album. Wild to think about.
No reason except that Michael Penn rules, obviously.
Halfway through reading LONESOME DOVE, and I'm glad I've yet to see the miniseries so that I can imagine Gus sounds like Pat Buttram.
Haha totally forgot about when you asked me about that!
