This was gonna be just a sketch but ended up with color because I'm weak for these two and this meme was perfect for them.

The background has hands as an ashtray in one corner with smoke coming up from it and the other side has a swirled void design to match the characters. Behind all of that there is lengthy text taken from their original story with quotes from the characters: DeVahl couldn't help it. Before he could stop himself his palm is on Lucien's thigh and there's a certain roughness to his words. "Fuck off." Lucien barely has time to give the stranger a snarky reply before he feels the hand on his thigh, easily recognizing who it belonged to without having to look at him. Never had he forogt that DeVahl was there, but he didn't expect him to intervene, especially not with such bite to his words. Lucien could just melt right into him, surprised by the overwhelming satisfaction of having him defend him as his. "Mon Coeur," he greets DeVahl, placing his hand on top of his. "Hey sweets, he softens a bit in his tone, though his gaze doesn't leave the other man. "Is this your idea of a partner or an attack dog?" "Good question, perhaps a bit of both, isn't he just charming?" Lucien grins towards the stranger, finding it a bit too exciting that DeVahl would pick a fight with someone just for hitting on him. DeVahl was already pushed far past his line of patience and it's noticeable in the way he tenses. "I'm giving you one more chance to get the fuck out of here before I slit your throat..." "Yeah I'm not talking to you, bitch, I'm talking to the one person here worth talking to. You should probably get your dog a leash." Lucien tips his head to the side. "That's very rude of you..." Lucien couldn't deny though that the thought of DeVahl with a leash excited him. "He's all bite, no bark."

Here’s one of a few WIPs I got going atm

You can make it entirely without the almonds and I think it would still be good! Now you got me wanting to try making a fig cheesecake.

sweetness and plays well on the depth of the dark chocolate. All in all I think it’s a great variation, especially for anyone who doesn’t like overly sweet deserts.

The crust is made with almonds and stroopwaffel so at the first bite you get a nice almond flavor followed by the dark chocolate of the cheesecake itself that has a subtle little kick from the cayenne to intensify the chocolate. The strawberry topping finished it off with just the right amount of-

For my birthday we made a server cake! Everyone in the server got to contribute one ingredient and I had to make a cake using only those ingredients. We ended up with a dark chocolate chili strawberry cheesecake and here is the result 🍓🍰

I wonder what they’re celebrating.

That’s always such a good feeling. One thing I love most about art is how there is always the opportunity to continue learning and improving.
