Rigged a model for @tinsamavt.bsky.social with PNGtuber remix, it's pretty simple program even if a bit janky.
Definitely something to try if you want to try live2d but are afraid to commit to learning a larger program.

It's the humor of, always has been. Same people pushing LLM were pushing crypto and nfts before, they just made enough money to upscale from simply burning up the GPUs to making entire buildings dedicated to 'em. They've always been a bunch of scammers and always will be.

I will say that calling it all AI probably didn't come with intentions like these originally, but these guys certainly are taking advantage of it today. And they're good at selling it to rich people, just like they did with NFTs and Crypto. Hence why there's an expected collapse as well.

How they also trick people with more money than brains to support their garbage, because medical technology is good, video games are good, so their generative will also be good, it'll also revolutionize the industries and it'll even save money!

That's also how we've ended up with the concept of "good" and "bad" AI, so they could trick people and call people hypocritical for supporting technology in the medical field but fighting generative technology. For allowing medical up take in data, but not their clear theft of art.

I realize I messed up my wording 'cause I used two different phrasings, meant they prevent curing cancer and end the gaming industry. They're inhibiting important technology by pushing their AI whilst trying to make it all seem the same so people that can't separate things out misunderstand.

"But AI helps the medical field, don't you want to cure cancer?" "AI has been in video games for years, you want to end the video game industry?" Whilst ironically they go about doing those very things themselves, not that they have a problem with that, that doesn't line their pockets enough.

Exactly. As long as it automates whilst making a "decision", it's been called AI. Doesn't matter if that "decision" is from a very, very small pool of choices that are all predefined, it's still considered AI. There's a reason they don't give specific definitions whilst pushing AI so hard.

It's AI in the same sense as the AI given to NPCs in video games. The term is very loose in definition, even though it can hardly be considered truly AI. It was never really an issue until now, either.

'Cause a lot of these things are technically AI, but nowadays the goal isn't to distinguish it separately, but to push an acceptance of all AI so they're blurring the lines. Although both sides have been blurring the line which is a huge problem considering the advancements in science using it.
