It was, he’s such a fascinating artist.

This is the day that life will surely end…
The brilliant Matt Johnson in conversation at St Luke’s in Glasgow last night, brave and revealing.

Ha, I so wish this was true :))
Despite being ridiculously decorative himself!
Said Bowie, never :))
Haha, he looks distinctly unimpressed.
Two months today, on 1 June, I'll be chatting about In Another World: The Four Seasons of Talk Talk at the beautiful Topping & Co in Edinburgh. Event info via the link; come if you can! In Another World is published by @newmodernbooks.bsky.social on 21 May.

Here’s Sunday’s venue, Leith Cricket Club looking cute.
Callum Easter and his cracking band at the Glad Cafe on Saturday. A mesmerising show with huge Suicide vibes and we got to do it all again at Leith Cricket Club on Sunday.

Sounds like a great plan, enjoy. The National Gallery’s new wing’s impressive, just off Princes Street and the Portrait Gallery’s in a gorgeous old building, also very central.
Yeah, the staff in there are great. Victoria Street’s worth a wander, very picturesque, though you’ll have to dodge the Harry Potter massive.
An Edinburgh institution, also in Victoria Street and Morningside.

Exactly that, Shayne! It’s getting thicker with every passing year, you can barely see him these days.
That was the time to see them. They’re still enjoyable live, though much more restrained and William can hard to spot due to an excess of dry ice.
I’d completely forgotten about that! Strange days indeed.
