Working with Ed has always been an immense source of joy for us all and we are devastated by his loss.
Bellowhead x
Tragically in October this year he discovered that the cancer had come back. We are unbelievably sad to have to tell you all that Ed passed away on Christmas Eve surrounded by his family. All our love goes out to his wife Cathryn and his two wonderful children James and Beth.
Thankfully his chemo went very well, and with
characteristic strength and determination he went ahead with the Bellowhead tour. As far as anyone knew, he was fully recovered.
Those of you who came along to the 2024 Bellowhead tour will remember our wonderful helicon player and dear friend Ed Neuhauser taking centre stage for the introduction to Fire Marengo.
What you wouldn't have realised is that Ed had been diagnosed with a brain tumour twelve months previously.
We’re absolutely delighted to let you know will be touring again in November 2026 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Burlesque! We'll be joined by celebrated kora master Seckou Keita. Tickets go on general sale this Friday at 10am 🥳

That’s the Bellowhead tour finished. Hard to sum it up but firstly THANK YOU if you came along to party with us. It was the happiest tour I can remember doing.
The audiences (32,000+ of you) were so great and our crew were beyond brilliant. They work unbelievably hard to make the show what it is.
