Rutgers Fraternity Is Closed After Student Is Injured in Hazing Episode

I am always disgusted and never surprised by these stories. As long as we have non academic fraternities we will have hazing. When I started at Colgate the Greek system was close to 70% of the student body. Now it’s in the low 30%. Much healthier for all. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/25/n...

NEW— ICE vehicles chased a landscaping truck through Takoma Park, MD, on Monday about a mile from DC, which ended with the truck crashing on someone’s lawn and narrowly missing another car, multiple residents confirm to me. Video shows ICE going into a backyard to find/arrest the men from the truck.

David Huerta is a very balanced and thoughtful person. He serves his members with sincerity and care. He has been a colleague in innovative work with me and I think of him as a friend. He was being peaceful and they through him to the ground with violence and cruelty. This is where we are.
