Anyway sorry for sad post I’m just. I’m so frustrated. I’ve worked my entire life for my voice and I just want it back and I just want a doctor that will give a damn. I’m nothing without my voice.

There’s no worse feeling than being unable to do things I used to do, or if I’m teaching and I want to demo something I KNOW I should be able to do but I can’t anymore. Honestly, it feels humiliating. I’m the teacher, I shouldn’t be messing up, but my voice is still damaged.

Yes that can be apart of it, but 1) my diet hasn’t changed, if anything it’s gotten better and 2) I’m only experiencing pain when I’m teaching/singing, I don’t wake up with it, and my range is fundamentally different.

I just want to cry man it’s been a year and my voice isn’t back

Not to sad post on main but the old ENT that was really nice to me left and the new guy just blew me off and said I should “watch my diet and avoid caffeine and dairy” and I’m so upset :)
