Closest I found was a fire in a warehouse in Compton, but it was not confirmed as Amazon, and no deaths or arson were reported in other news sources.

Has anyone corroborated this story? I cannot find any other sources. There is no byline author. National Today doesn't appear to be a news outlet. They quote one "community organizer" they quote in other articles, but I cannot find this person.

As I understand it, Social Democracy is utopian in theory, eclectic in ideology, and opportunistic in strategy. How can one expect a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie to allow itself to be voted out of existence if they are not an idealist utopian?

All agreeable. We just don't need to rank an actual event where thousands of people died as a distraction. It's not. It is one of the atrocities in need of distraction.

You called the war in Iran a distraction from the Epstein files. Maybe you didn't intend to minimize the war in Iran, but you did.
We don't need that framing to call out both. Coverage/advocacy of the Epstein files has not stopped. There was no distraction.

We can keep advocating for the full release of Epstein's files and for justice for the victims while also advocating against war in Iran without minimizing any of these.

The US has wanted to screw with Iran longer than I have been alive. Multiple interests are at play here. Minimizing this truly horrible series of events as just another distraction from the many others is gross.

a criminal conviction isn’t required to say someone does not have the moral character to run for office and i don’t understand why this needs to be said over and over and over again.

I trust journalists way more than cops and courts to investigate sexual violence allegations. When a thoroughly reported journalistic investigation comes out, like the ones about Eric Swalwell, I’ve seen enough. If you haven’t done this work you may be unaware of how much goes into it.
