despite how nostalgic this doll is for me it is reminding me that i don't really like the g1 bodies lol, would looove to see a g3 rochelle. let's get some rock on these gargoyle bones, she'd be so stinkin cute.

looks so fun!!
the creepro was more expensive than i would have liked ofc, but i didn't want to risk her shooting up to equivalent $90 like creepro operetta did 🙃 i kind of like my original rochelle's hair and skin tones better than the new ones, but i'm glad to have a version that's in better shape #dollsky
Doll photo of two Monster High G1 Rochelle Goyle, one original one from ca 2012 and one recently released Creeproduction. The original is shiny glue seepage, is missing her bracelet, and her knee joints are a bit floppy so she doesn't stand straight. Also, her hair is slightly more salmon pink and teal while the new Creeproduction's hair is cooler pink and blue. The Creeproduction also seems to have a slightly warmer undertone to her grey stone skin.
been taking a break from doll collecting because the lack of availability + jacked up prices in my area have gotten so frustrating it's not fun anymore, but had to pick up the creeproduction of the first doll i bought as an adult #dollsky
i have a new poem in strange horizons!! 😇
Today's Doll of the Day is Princesses Ice Queen, a Fashion Rats doll released by Obvious Plant in 2025. (April 1st, 2026)
**Q. You want to raise every boy as a girl?** Yes. **Q. Why?** A boy will learn to hate girls as long as he is raised in such a way where he is treated as better, and superior to, his girl peers, whenever he is cruel to girls. So, instead, we raise boys as girls. **Q. What if they say they are not a girl, and want to be acknowledged as a boy?** Then you know they are a boy, so you must make sure to understand them as a boy, and not a girl. **Q. What does it mean to be 'raised as a girl'?** That's up for you to decide. The only difference is that you should not raise boys any differently than you raise girls, since you raise every boy as a girl. **Q. Girls and boys are raised in specific ways for specific purposes, so it does not make sense to raise boys as girls.** If you raise every boy as a girl, then there is no being which is not raised as a girl, so anyone raised as a girl necessarily must learn to do anything and everything to grow up, without restrictions on tasks, labours, or interests. **Q. But boys and girls are different.** All two girls are different, and raising girls in one specific way destroys this individuality in favour of moulding girls to serve the same master. Still, the girls resist to live life on their own terms. If girls can be raised such that they know they can do anything they want, including not being girls, so too will boys raised as girls. **Q. Why not raise every girl as a boy?** Because if a girl does not exist among boys, then the girl is made. **Q. Why not raise girls and boys as themselves?** The self must be made in a world where girls and boys can first and foremost be themselves. One step towards this goal is to raise every boy as a girl. **Q. The way people raise girls is cruel, so why would you raise boys with that cruelty?** If you raise girls with cruelty, then you should stop being cruel to girls.
Rationale Usually the chips served are not flavored, or flavored only mildly, and the dip serves as a condiment. Serving them separately allows for simultaneous consumption, while also allowing for the eater to control the amount of dip according to their preference. When made from purchased processed foods, the dish is an easy finger food, as each item requires almost no further preparation. Not to mention, there is a large amount of combinatorial possibility inherent to the choice of dip being paired to the chip chosen.
i think it's smart that the Wikipedia page for Chips and Dip opens with a "Rationale" section. a lot of people are flabbergasted to find out about this concept and need some grounding before they get into the history
A formal photo of a ceramic sculpture. The piece is 20” wide, and features a long suffering large beast being swarmed by four rambunctious small beasts. It’s squishing one to gain some chil.
Different view of the same piece. Two small beasts are climbing over the leg of the large one, yelling at each other.
A close up on the coloration of one of the smaller beasts. All the coloration on both is due to the ash from the woodfiring melting into a natural glaze.
Close up on the noisy two
Presenting the final sculpture!!
It’s hilarious to be able to look back to my first sketch and track the progress of this beast. My instinct is was right. A pain to sculpt, but worth it!
It’s titled “Storyteller”, and will be part of my solo show at J. Rinehart Gallery, opening April 2nd.
Wonderful news

there are intelligent criticisms of genre romance but too many people pick up a book called Seducing The Duke of Cheek Clappingshire, #7 in the Regency Fuck Series and are like “why don’t these books represent women who are happy single?” and you’re like maybe because it’s Seducing The Duke of Ch
honestly nothing illustrates fandom’s shortcomings like a post that goes “hey guys quick tip for fic writers :) this is how dialogue tags work” with a friendly tone and no particular fic pointed at generating days of discourse involving people acting like grammar tips are mean and an attack on them
Screenshot from the video game Persona 4. In the halls of Yasogami High, the protagonist talks to a male student labeled "Stylish student". His dialogue window reads: "Hanging out with women, going on dates with them, that's fine. Killing them? Not so much."

Three Skullpanda Winter Symphony dolls surround a small jigsaw puzzle of the painting the Girl With the Peal Earring that's missing one last piece. Ode to Cocoa and Partita look around for the piece while Wanderer's Tune is lying on the floor in despair. The lost jigsaw piece lies behind Ode to Cocoa.

i know i've been pretty quiet but here's the result of my January: a totally handmade, fully-functional marionette created for a local winter-themed puppet show. she's called the Winter Maw & she'll eat you alive, just like real winter
