I see the brazen utility of farming human processes out to tech, but the education domain has a sacred aspect. How would you feel if your Sunday confession was processed by a bot?

1) is time-pressure the cause?
2) does the teacher appreciate that an assessment is an act of communication?
3) does the teacher appreciate that formative assessment is a dialogue?

As a HoD in a secondary school, if I found out that a colleague was grading using AI, I would have some questions...
