One funny thing with Champions bringing a lot of new players in is seeing Incineroar being this sorta meta boogeyman. A lot of it is jokes but something about seeing Sneasler propped up as this underdog next to people's perception of Incin.

I also love the surprisingly prescient relationship he has with the joker during their fight in the movie, almost 1:1 with how many "legends" lost their minds and status on social media when faced with a normal guy and not their weird freak peers

the main issue with editing Calvin & Hobbes comic strips as a meme template is that you are probably not as funny as Bill Watterson

I genuinely belive that, with the exception of very specific design examples (undertale/tunic/outer wilds), spoilers aren't real. Stories are so much more than just surprises and twists and it stings that the world has decided to fetishize the surprise/first time experience over everything else
