the polarization of politics in this country is going to be our downfall

no. but a 21 year old stealing liquor does seem like the person who might decide to run over a cop they think is going to arrest them, though.

when the footage is released and we see that the cop was definitively in the wrong, then I'll join in on the outrage. but as far as I know nothing has been shown to warrant that yet.

I'm not defending cops, I'm defending the human being wearing the badge who *as of right now* has not done something wrong other than defend themself.

aiming and firing is faster than moving out of a vehicle driving toward you, and we don't know the speed or the cops position when this happened.
