A green background featuring a stylised globe and text that reads “World Environment Day!”. Below there is an illustration of a woman with an arrow pointing to a pink text box that says: “Did you know? Countries with higher female representation in Parliament are more likely to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, ratity environmental treaties and adopt stringent climate change policies.”

Studies show that women prioritise sustainability initiatives and invest in the climate. This is important as women and girls are disproportionately impacted by climate change.

More women in politics means a firm commitment to climate action and environmental justice!

This week we think of the women who play important yet often overlooked roles in the ongoing decolonisation of the 17 Non-Self Governing Territories recognised by the UN.

Women's voices must be included in order to dismantle all systems of colonial domination - including the patriarchy!

Had a lovely morning yesterday at the Launch of Women's Spaces 'Pillars for Peace' toolkit.

An amazing tool to facilitate, encourage and increase women's role in peacebuilding in NI.

Hi, all women's sector folks! Trying to put together a starter pack for all women's sector organisations/ activists/feminists on BlueSky. If you see yourself as part of that, could you share your profiles below, please? Ideally, could we make an Ireland pack and a NI-specific pack?
