It's incredibly mentally taxing. At least you don't have -40 outside like I had in Feb last year 😂. 4 weeks of not leaving the house was nuts.
Shit is traumatic, but try to do what you can to stay positive, have people over to visit and follow the rehab instructions/don't try to do too much
Can't sugarcoat it, it's awful and a long process. But once the boot portion is over you'll regain function sooner than you'd think.
Went to Cleveland like two weeks after the boot. Big hiking trip in Africa like 5 months after the boot
