Also that if you wash on a low temp ironing helps kill germs (so I was told) and also they then fit in the drawer...

My thought entirely
Bluebells. Lots of bluebells.
My phone camera never has quite replicated the beauty and blue-ness of a carpet of bluebells, but I share this anyway. Day off pilgrimage back to Essex woods today.
Seconded from here, I like and use this too. Definitely worth buying the tin can key rolling thing to get the product out without mangling the tube
Kid C and I would get along. I myself also enjoy the simplicity, nay, some might say daftness, of this route diagram.
That is absolutely beautiful (as are you)
8hrs sleep, an hour's sunny walk, bit of online puzzling, lunch, gave Bunter a good brush outside, now tea and an armchair and a book and no plans to move #postEaster
Illustrated Easter scene with colourful flowers in the foreground, trees and a winding path leading to an empty stone tomb in the background. A bright sun with a smiling face shines in the sky above. Large text reads “Happy Easter” and below it, smaller text says “He is Risen.” At the bottom is The Church of England logo.
🙌 Happy Easter! 🙌
Alleluia! Christ is risen.
He is risen indeed. Alleluia!
Gosh. @gerrarrdus.bsky.social It's now a 15-year-old tradition of reading this. cyber-coenobites.blogspot.com/2011/04/rip-...
Congratulations! Now a breather... Oh.. Wait...
After months of hard work, we’re thrilled to be able to share our new festival location for 2027 with you. To those of you who have begged for our new home to have plenty of green space, great transport links and delicious, locally-sourced food and drink, we hope you won’t be disappointed.
@greenbeltfestival.bsky.social This news has made my morning. I love you. Hoping that you bring in some extra food stalls. Fish would be good.
Today I learned that if you have trashed the touchscreen on your phone you can plug a USB mouse in and activate things that way.
Learned it about 8hrs too late to save me lots of faff, mind.
I have quite enjoyed reading lots of conference posts from you. It's like the old days!
I had a 'helpful' station person call a ticket office to check my travel because I couldn't possibly be on a certain train with an off peak ticket. Did not deem as sufficient the evidence of purchase in train company's app!
All distractions including incoming and outgoing calls...
If you were going to drop and smash your work mobile phone, today wouldn't be the best day, would it...
No, but I did not factor in that we were starting v close to the Vicarage when asking associate Robert to make sure people could hear him. Because Bunter heard him, and promptly began barking.
You didn't go with my suggestions for the sign, then...
Sorry not sorry.
Maybe hold a chicken in the air or stick a deckchair on your nose instead?
... Always ready... Helping everybody...
@nationaltrust.org.uk Could you at least wait until after Easter before sending me an advertisement for a Christmas 2026 event...?
Well done for going to yoga, despite * everything *
A tabby cat (Miss Climpson) curled up asleep on a black office chair.
So many things still to do this evening but I guess some of them will just be done standing...
Exciting times!
As I was saying
I cannot recommend enough adding @bcpminuscontext.bsky.social to your collection because about twice a day there are created the most marvellous coincidental comments on adjacent posts...
A large brown dog sniffs a dried pigs ear treat. He is being watched by a black and white cat.
Here's Bunter the birthday dog enjoying his treat, being closely observed by Lord Peter, who doesn't have a birthday until August
I do love @bcpminuscontext.bsky.social
