We are unveiling "Blurred Realities," our latest exhibition from the CoLab Studio in our main gallery. "Blurred Realities" invites you to examine the dilemmas tied to dis/mis/information, artificial intelligence, and shifting perceptions of truth. Come and see, open through July 18, 2026!

I hit a deer this past fall, and the ordeal of getting a replacement parking pass for my rental car was insane. I had to go extract my pass from my car at the repair place in order to get a temporary pass for my rental. Otherwise MSU Parking wanted to charge me something like $50 for a new pass.

Next week, Amazon is stripping away your ability to download your ebooks. Starting next Wednesday, February 26th, Amazon isn’t going to let users download the ebooks they’ve purchased, forcing users to keep everything within the corporation’s proprietary ecosystem.…

Another reason to 1) buy paper copies of books from your local bookseller and 2) check out e-books from your local library instead of buying them from Amazon.

I lost my job at the National Science Foundation yesterday, along with 167 of my colleagues, including some dear friends. This was the best job I've ever had, and I thought it would be my last. The PI community has been sympathetic and supportive, without exception. I will miss working for you.

NTSB safety updates only posted on X

The National Transportation Safety Board telling media they can only receive updates via the government-aligned website of the oligarch who is running the administration.
The government helping to make X relevant is one of a myriad of ways Musk's public role boosts his private businesses.

I've been to two ERs and both said I need a referral for an MRI. Yesterday's ER doc said I could need surgery for a tear in my hip. Called my insurance, my former orthopedic surgeon, and my osteo doc and they all say I need my primary care physician's referral. On top of all of this I have COVID :(

I am begging the national media to start taking this seriously.

Stop buying the claims that the framing of "temporary" or "pause."

They are altering the review processes of federally funded scientific research from merit-based peer review processes to political screening by ideologues.
