Most likely they don't even understand what "normal" behaviour actually is, since they're only learning about society from social media.

"I can't believe that those two youtubers who heavily criticised each other 5 years ago didn't start a fight and weren't even awkward when they met each other at IRL meetup. They even chatted!"
Maybe they're just Normal Adults.
Somehow the idea of such possibility does not occur to this crowd.

While there's still some time before the editing is done for the release, I must say I felt a bit emotional writing the last lines for the last episode.
It was such a long journey, but here we are, at the point where it has to end. And you write the very last line. And it's done.

Dear @bsky.app I am once again asking for the ability to disable retweets in my following feed per-user (rather than entirely), for the sake of shaping a more readable timeline while still keeping up with everyone I follow.

I've watched it live on the jp tv, but the recording will either pop up on bilibili, or someone from the community will upload it somewhere.

when you're very mpv-pilled

You can't hide behind the semantics of the source material and claim greater authenticity. That's fearing the job. Translation is a collaboration between you, the work, and the creators and unless you own your choices, you're not holding up your end of the bargain and you're misrepresenting theirs.

That doesn't mean don't take bold, creative leaps. But it means you have to be willing to stand by your work, your approach, and its individuality and be prepared to show receipts for it all. There's no truly neutral approach in creative translations and even so-called direct ones have consequences.

Last thread on the matter because it's been a long week, but if there's one piece of advice I can offer to fan translators who truly want to do a good job, it's this: be prepared to take ownership for your work. That's the number one thing I find lacking in many, man fan translations in general.
