In further garden observations, the maple tree has thrown off some offspring in 2 of the hanging plant baskets. One of the bakets is also home to chickweed. The Lilac seems a bit bare, it’s flowering okay though, maybe it needs pruning but I’ll need someone who knows how to do that properly.
My chestnut tree is doing great, still incredible that this came from a chestnut picked from the woods. But. Something appears to be eating it. I can’t actually see anything, no lice or flies / crawlers, apart from red stringy stuff on the branches, but not sure if that’s from the tree itself.
Yes, at the shop they said the new ones were a very gentle breed and it wasn’t likely for it to become aggressive. While this is true, they also won’t take their place as they’re push overs. Hopefully the new coop and some adjustments to the feeding set up will improve things.
Finding an affordable night coop only that’s big enough for Brahma’s is far from easy and I really thought I had found a good one. 😭 After a long search I have now ordered one from Belgium that doesn’t look as spot on as the other one, but good for what I need at a slightly lower price. 🤞🏼
Chicken news - Since the established 3 girls won’t allow the new pair to enter or be in the chicken coop, and the new ones are too gentle to demand their place, I ordered an second night coop. It should have been delivered Saturday, still nothing today so I called and it turns out it’s sold out. 🙄😫

Yes, I can report either in person or anonymously. It’s more uncomfortable than unsafe at this point, but neither is good. The company does claim to strive inclusivity. I think it’s mostly if I want to waste my mental energy on such a fuckwit. I’ll sleep it over and decide tomorrow.

As a Pansexual and a open supportive for anyone within the LGBTQ+, specially trans and the “+” groups, I am not so sure I can feel safe and included with someone like that on the grounds at work.
Nobody he was speaking to gave him much backlash, as clearly he is a deranged individual and discussing it would be futile.
But. Having had the weekend to think it over, I am unsure what to do.
He said that he was “the best leader the world has ever known” and went on to say that “Jews are the root of al evil”, “they (Jews) started “everything” by declaring war on “the world” in the 1930s” and “righteous Christians are fighting only for world peace”.

Ikea sucked, as expected. Managed to get a new bed though and managed to stuff it in my car. Next weekend is a 3 day weekend, in which I plan to build it.
I can not express in words or emphasise enough how much I do not want to go to Ikea today. But if I ever want to have a chance for a decent night sleep again, I have no choice then to do it at some point. 😭

(Oh, I reverse on my mirrors or by looking through the window, reversing cameras are just confusing and no training should ever include the use of them. No offence intended if the use does help you, of course. (I have all standard driving licenses from A to E and drive flatbed HGV for a living.))
Sadly European license holders can drive larger trailers as long as the trailer isn’t heavier than the vehicle and the combination doesn’t exceed 3.5 tons. That enables some to drive ridiculously large caravans without any training at all. Driving with a trailer should always need a license.
Anyone with experience with connecting an #iPad to a large screen / TV through a lightning to #HDMI connector / converter? How is the quality? Is it better, worse or equal to screen mirror?

Could I built a small interface with a touch screen on an #Arduino or similar, and HDMI / audio to smart TV, to use as a media player? It would need to be able to be used with #YouTubeMusic, #Bandcamp, #SoundCloud, #Netflix and similar, streaming services and web.

I can still love your later work, find it awesome, but there might this one piece that, to me, stands out. Wouldn’t want an artist to think otherwise, or discourage them, if I say something is their best yet.

More and more I think I should rebuild one of my old iPads into some sort of media player. Found that my Linux tablet doesn’t mute the onboard speaker when I plug in an external speaker / headphones. 🫤
