#Hobbystreak day 95. The time crunch is on now. The goal is to have these 10 painted in time to use them in a game this Thursday evening.

#Hobbystreak day 94. Cavaliers campaign Sunday! The final operation of the raid on Hell's Horses has begun. The Cavaliers assaulted the primary garrison complex. Now they have a limited time to field repair before the counter attack.

#Hobbystreak day 93. I spent most of the day at a family event but I was able to make a bit of progress on mini painting.

#Hobbystreak day 92. A bit of painting progress today but I am taking these a bit on the slow side since I am coming up with the paint scheme on the fly.

#Hobbystreak day 91. Thursday night Old World. The Dark Elves were challenged by the Skaven. The Skaven engineer misjudged the wind and dropped a doom rocket into his own clan rats. After that the Sorceress and her bodyguard slew stormvermin and the rest of the ratmen broke.

#Hobbystreak day 90. Back to fantasy. I picked up a box of Warmachine mage hunters because they looked like they would make for good counts-as Dark Elf Shades. Once i got home I assembled and primed them.

What I have discovered over the last few months is I appear to be the lone active Dark Elf player in my city. I have had half a mind to commission somebody to draw Malekith as the doom guy from the Doom 2016 art

#Hobbystreak day 89. The shield captain is done. My frustration about these new infantry being completely monopose and having little in the way of options aside they do paint up nicely.

#Hobbystreak day 88. Back to painting the new shield captain mini. I think by tomorrow I should be done. Overall I have really mixed feelings about the new custodes infantry.

#Hobbystreak day 87. Sunday was our classic Battletech meetup. We had some new people around and the regulars decided just to play a big 2v2 while our demo agent did some learning games. Overall just a chill day with some big stompy robots

#Hobbystreak day 86. I built primed and started painting the new shield captain as a test for my custodes scheme. I hit a really nice groove so I got a lot accomplished today.

#Hobbystreak day 85. It was a very slow day at work so I built some of the new Custodes infantry. My early review is very frustrating. The way they are molded makes them annoyingly monopose and the way the capes are molded to drape on the ground is going to make basing a bitch

#Hobbystreak day 84. Thursday night Old World! Our escalation league has moved up a tier so I got a 750 point game in and the okay to use the beta renegade rules for Dark Elves.

#Hobbystreak day 83. Finished in time for tomorrow! Definitely a bit quicker and dirtier than I normally paint but good enough for the table.

#Hobbystreak day 82. More Medusa progress. I have a pretty good feeling I will be ready in time for my Thursday evening game.

#Hobbystreak day 81. I have a game league game on Thursday which calls for my army to have a Medusa which means after years I am finally going to paint the one that has been haunting my dark elf army box for years

#Hobbystreak day 80. Happy Easter to everyone. It was a mostly chill day so I spent my time getting the decals applied and the bases painted on my legion veterans.

Battletech. It's a great tabletop game I really recommend it

#Hobbystreak day 79. Because of Easter the Cavaliers campaign day happened on Saturday. This deployment ended up being brutal with our rifleman pilot being killed by a gauss hit to the cockpit and our Phoenix Hawk being lost on the field.

#Hobbystreak day 78. I wanted to get out of the house so I played a pickup 500 point game of Old World at my LGS. Playing Dark Elves meant I was on the back foot but I think I gave a decent account of myself.

#Hobbystreak day 77. The paint work on the marines is finished! I still need to apply decals and paint the bases but this little project is nearing completion.

#Hobbystreak day 76. I was able to finish off just about all the major base coats today with the bolter casing. Since I had a bunch of dirty paint water I needed to change I took a minute to start on the basing.

#Hobbystreak day 75. Today I was working on armor trim until I went crosseyed but a bit closer to being done.

#Hobbystreak day 74. Since these marines are in Mk3 armor I wanted to make them look more "veteran" than my normal legionaries. Which being dark Angels means checkerboarding and lots of it.

#Hobbystreak day 73. I had planned on starting painting on some dark elves but the weather was awful for priming. Instead I broke out some Mk3 marines which were already ready for paint.

#Hobbystreak day 72. Lots of building work done today. A regiment of eBay rescue black guard and some additions to my dark riders.

#Hobbystreak day 71. And these horses are done! For a quick paint up I am pretty pleased with how they came out.

#Hobbystreak day 70. Decent progress today on the skellingtons. All the painting is done on the minis it's just basing left to do.

#Hobbystreak day 69. I got absorbed watching the adepticon stream even if the audio was crap so I didn't get much painted today.
