Governor Maura Healey (@massgovernor.bsky.social) NEW: We're teaming up with @massago.bsky.social to launch a new tool to report violent and unlawful ICE activity in Massachusetts.  It'll help us gather the facts, connect people to legal help, and make sure no one is above the law. To report an incident, visit Mass.gov/FedMisconduct.

For local friends: the state of Massachusetts now has a place to report misconduct by ICE or other federal agents.

In December I wrote about the price and performance of Hetzner’s server instances. Hetzner recently announced a significant price increase effective April 1, 2026. I updated my blog post.

No, I use a combination of Ansible and the Hetzner API.

4 months ago 1 0 0 0

Yes, I use Ansible almost everything – creating and destroying stacks of servers, deploying updates to my code, deploying security updates to (for example) nginx.

I use Ansible to automate the setup. Honestly I would not choose Ansible if I was starting from scratch now. Specifying everything that needs to happen in YAML files is a little unwieldy.

I recently moved most of my servers from Linode to Hetzner. I wrote a blog post describing the pros and cons of each hosting service:

No Kings As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS non-violent movement continues to rise stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has No Kings and the power belongs to the people.

Tomorrow is the No Kings protest. I am going. If you are here in the United States, please consider attending.

This is incredibly disappointing.
