Boston City Council Approves Ranked-Choice Voting To take effect, the city would need a green light from state lawmakers. A statewide RCV measure failed in Massachusetts in 2020.

We so admire everyone putting themselves forward to run, but wouldn’t it be great if they had a real mandate, not winning “by just a few votes”?

A ranked ballot could have given the next Don Valley West school trustee a true majority.

We deserve better elections.
