Today, I read a bit about the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal, and it was a workable deal. All the P5+1 countries had the power to revoke the deal whenever they felt Iran was not complying with it (which it was complying). The lunatic Trump scrapped the deal just to please a few voters.
Just wanted to remind folks, especially the GOP and the FDD, that Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal didn’t give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz or allow it to keep 60% enriched uranium. It sent $1.7 billion to Iran versus the tens of billions Iran will now make from tolls. 🤷🏽♂️

Exactly how I feel about BJP supporters. The evidence has been there for decades now that what it stands for is Hindu upper caste supremacy. And for good measure, for all the Jagdish Bhagwatis out there, the economy is a shitshow and our international standing is shredded. Bigotry is killing India.
I think, even with a ceasefire, the war will only stop where Israel needs direct interference from the USA. Otherwise, the air bombing in Lebanon and the genocide of the Palestinians will continue as they were before the Iran war.
The US/Israeli war was criminal and catastrophic, and it's great if it fails, but an Iranian regime that refuses to respect its own people is no heroic enterprise.
Nor are the abusive Gulf regimes.
I wish for better regimes for all the people, everywhere, because, hey, I live under a shitty one.

If this doesn't stop soon, this war and Trump's presidency will be America's grave, all because of the fanaticism of Israel. By the end of all this, the US will be left an economic disaster for good but with a severe price for everyone, especially Iran.
For the extremists of the BJP-RSS, deleting voters and slashing state funds wasn't enough; now, they're inciting communal riots to win WB. And all of this is happening through the in-house EC of the RSS. They took control over the police and asked their goons to go on a rampage across the state.
A media ecosystem built around one obsession stops doing other things. It stops watching China, which had been the benchmark ambitious Indians would measure themselves against. It stops holding power accountable.
