I never understood the X in PDX. Was it because Austin was the “hip” city before? Cause I remember always seeing it as ATX and Portland whenever both cities were mentioned. But as Portland got more popular is when I started seeing PDX. Which doesn’t make sense because the X in ATX belongs there.
