Midwestern rich folks buy homes in FL, live there 6mos+1day/year and are then "FL residents," as a way to avoid paying income taxes in their real home state (where they actually work, own properties and run businesses).

I'm sure these same "FL people" are heavily behind this anti-property tax push.

As long as you're not mixing the ones with bergamot with the ones with mint or turmeric, should taste okay.

I just "feel" the awkward weight of that, looking at it.

Also, wiring a lamp up through a sewing machine body, bending up the arm, with the bulb and socket up at the face plate? Not fun.

The oven I had when my kid was small had the broiler in a narrow bottom shelf under the regular oven, with a separate lower door. I never used it.

Once I preheated the oven for dinner, and could not figure out the horrible smell, until I looked down there and found my kid had hid an etch-a-sketch.

Every time I've had a sip of water "go down the wrong pipe," I've wondered WHY we are designed so that our food/liquid-swallowing system and our nose/mouth-to-lung-breathing pathways overlap.

(Dumb) People think any ability to create -sew, knit, draw, build, etc- is magical or god-given, & you owe it to the world (them) to give freely of your magical talent.

While the work they do at a desk pushing financial papers around (or etc) is a hard-learned skill that they deserve lots $$$ for.

I'm thinking later in the joke setup she will be on a barstool, shitfaced, and hit on the Pope.

Something something ...🤔... then punchline.

Our cats tolerated the harness, but constantly tangled the leash in shrubs, flowers, porch rail, etc. What worked was running a cable across an area 5-6' off the ground, and attached a short leash to it with a clip that slides. They love it!

He's great at explaining things clearly, and is kind of a goofball, with a quirky sense of humor. I watched him on Instagram and Youtube for years, now he sells sewing tools and does online classes.

Cornelius Quiring — Sewing Tutorials, Tips and Inspiration I've been on a journey learning how to sew my own clothes. Now I'm sharing the skills I've learned with tutorials and inspirational content.

An amazing talented sewist to follow is Cornelius Quiring. cornelius.ooo
His family are Mennonite farmers in S. America. At 3yo he was crushed in an accident by farm machinery, which made his body, as he grew, differently shaped. He taught himself to sew and tailor to make clothes that fit him.

It should be a mandatory course.
And if you score too low on the exam, you must go through a rehab-type inpatient remedial empathy training.

If you see this, don't participate. It's a rigged study by Lisa Littman and unethical researcher J. Michael Bailey meant to undermine access to care. Spread the word.

Always looks like they peed themselves a little, and are trying to get the fabric to dry surreptitiously. And failing.

Pope Leo is a world leader.

DJT is only the "leader" of a (rapidly-decreasing) 1/3 of the US.

When the technology they are pushing is by design something so basic an idiot can use it, why would you *want* to be an early adopter?

I'll wait till I feel I have a really good reason to use it, thanks anyway.

Yeah I have seen some of those as well.

Maybe we need captchas for every post, it would be annoying but it might cut down on both activities. Same goes for follows to stop the follow bots.
