I've been thinking, I should make a #vrchat version of this SL model

I'd need to make some edits to the mesh to make it VRC friendly, and I'd have to figure out how to do a 2D, texture-based face instead of a rigged one that most models use

Anyone have any experience with something like that?

because most of the avatar it was made for wasn't PBR, I decided against it in the end, but in the future I'll probably make a PBR version of it if I ever make the full suit

I'll probably make a version of this suit, I feel like the mixture of materials and the mix of poofy and skintight parts could be interesting

nope, only the hood is original mesh, the body/gear pieces are all found parts (I do plan on making an entirely original suit soon)

I'd try and find the original suit, but the creator seems to have nuked their store, the suit was called [NASL] Gorgon Suit

their ears clipping though a hood that didn't have ear sleeves was bugging me so I modeled a quick and messy hood that has ears, that also matched my art :>
