This is a variation of an earlier design mirroring the Mighty Morphin Thunder Megazord. Here, the Red Dragon Fighter Mode (now a Red Gyarados) serves as the base while the Unicorn, Griffin, Firebird and Lion (now Rapidash, Silvally, Moltres and Luxray respectively) make up the samurai-inspired armor. This time, the coloration of each Zord has been altered to match each Pokemon’s corresponding shiny form

Moreso than any of the other DinoZords, the evil WarZord Cyclopsis has been completely redesigned to resemble the Pokemon Darkrai. Though without legs of its own, this monstrosity propels itself forward, sporting jagged claws and spewing a thick, corrupting smog

Hell yah!! That was the original inspiration! Though like I did with the Voyager series, these will be full redesigns - as opposed to vague color swaps.

Will release full design schematics tomorrow, but for this teaser, I wanted to try my best to capture how we often saw it in the series 😊

The dim silhouette of a strange ship drifts outside earths atmosphere. Thick plates of armor seem to encase its form while at its front appears… a pair of eyes?

After over a year, I can FINALLY start releasing these designs! …Truly an Easter miracle lol

The individual Ninja Zords from the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers altered to look like Pokemon. The Frog, Crane, Wolf, Bear and Ape now resemble Greninja, Mandibuzz, Houndoom, Bewear and Infernape respectively.

The aforementioned components have now been combined into the corresponding Ninja Megazord. Greninja makes up the legs/ lower body, Bewear makes up the chest, Houndoom and Infernape the arms and Mandibuzz the head.

… though to be fair, this does align with my perpetual obliviousness to all things Sportsball 😅

Joining with four of the five Thunder PokeZords and Tor the ShuckleZord, the Thundering DaiLiger formation is realized. Similar to the original formation ThunderZord formation, Rapidash and Silvally make up the legs while Luxury sits as added shoulder armor. Unlike the original MegaTigerZord, here the Moltres Zord functions as wings with a pair of cannons taken from Tor the Shuckle Zord. What served as legs in the base Battle mode formation are now two oversized arms. Chunks of black armor from the base Zord realign to bring the entire formation together in terms of color.

Looking back, I think this was actually my first ‘off script’ redesign. Come a long way since but… damn I’m glad I started here

The Red Dragon ThunderZord from and its corresponding transformation into ‘Warrior Mode’ from the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers altered to look like the Pokemon Gyarados.

And let’s not forget the #PokéZord equivalent of the Red Dragon (warrior mode). GOD I loved the ThunderZords / DaiRanger designs ❤️ Would love to revisit this transformation style one day

The individual Thunder Zords from the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers altered to look like Pokemon. The Lion, Firebird, Unicorn, Griffin and Red Dragon now resemble Luxray, Moltres, Rapidash, Silvally and Red Gyarados respectively.

With the Red Gyarados Thunder Zord in fighter mode serving as the base, the remaining 4 Zords serve as pieces of traditional samurai armor to create the Thunder Megazord. Rapidash and Silvally make up the leg armor, Luxury the chest and arm armor, Moltres the plated skirt.
