Really appreciate it, but I'll admit that doing the stat blocks is a needful part of my process. Despite my protestations I'll get them done, likely today :)

After production is wrapped on this stuff for Gamehole Con, I'm in limbo with TTRPG contracts. Not actively seeking anything and generally deferring to other talented creators. Might take up some review of other systems, might return to this Miskatonic project I've had floating around for too long.

I love designing new RPG content. I hate transcribing/formatting stat blocks.

I've recently picked up an itch to write like mad again. Between a couple projects and my own notes/ongoing thing, I think I'm around 30k words in the last 10 days. That's one benefit of work travel: I hole up in the hotel room and scribble each night.

Fully agreed. I work them in when it's thematically appropriate, like with magic items that are central to the plot of an adventure. I mean, we've been doing it for a long time - it was nice to see similar validation in the attunement scenes in the D&D movie.

I never joined - I was a Paizo venture officer at the time, then took on the DDAL role. But man, the PG people had a great rep around here

Not sure if it will cover their RPG play, but having this program return is HUGE.

D&D @ Gen Con is moving from the JW Marriott over the Lucas Oil Stadium. I think this means that they're either gonna fight the True Dungeon folks, or combine forces for what is possibly the most epic LARP event Indy has ever seen.
