I've been playing Shantytown by @silksoftworks.bsky.social in the few spare hours I have lately, and it's a pretty comfy little game. I love the level of detail in adorning your buildings with stuff, really making the little neighborhoods feel lived in. I'm curious to see what Creative Mode is like

Everytime I see shit like this is a fundamental failure to understand the role and purpose of what an "NPC" plays in game design. The role of an npc is to deliver tone, information, character. Things AI are incapable of doing because it requires intent.

Compared to a lot of similar characters like her, I feel that Susan Murphy aka Ginormica, in DreamWorks' Monsters Vs. Aliens works so well as a giantess protagonist because of how relatable she is to the audiences watching the film for a few different reasons. (1/7)
