But 2024 was last year right?

That Martinook clip is from last years playoffs. He got very lucky he didn’t score a goal for the Sens in OT when he slid into the goal last night
A game so good the Canes had to win it twice. Amazing play by both goalies and teams all night. This game could have been 6-5 but both goalies sold out. The Stanky line remained hot. Need to rest up. Teams back at it on Thursday. #SoundtheSiren
It was exhausting and worth it
Yakemchuk taking warmies
Yakemchuk had a good couple games when he covered at the end of the season but as we saw last year in the Florida series rookie D being thrown to the wolves is not a recipe for success
I think Montreal can win but that top line was outmatched in 5v5, but lights out on the power play. As soon as Jake took that penalty it was over.
And there it is
xGF% and a minus 2 on the stat sheet for that line. The expected stat is interesting for sure but expected is never reality
I had the same reaction, but figured it was about the called off goal and went ehh🤷♂️
A hard hitting, tight game. What you would expect from teams that mirror each other. Staal drops them and Brady was shocked by that right hand he caught. First round Freddie showed up. Stank’s line kept rolling. Let’s get the powerplay going and let’s go boys!! #SoundtheSiren
2nd fight this year, which is way above his norm. But necessary in both instances
It is written
Kings about to upset the Avs so they can find a way to make it happen
Well except Caroline and that whole AHL team but still
He is the worlds only ice hog
Evidently Stormy traveled to the Sens Kids day this year. I had to explain to some confused fans what he was lol
Last year it was injuries to the blue line in round 2, so 2 rookies played along with not getting the needed timely saves they had been. 2 years before that it was the first 2 games being OT losses just sapping the team. A 4 game sweep where they played the equivalent of 6, each loss a one goal game
The fact that Double Dutch Bus was not in the rotation during the Bussi run was a travesty
Canes have been sitting 7+ starters the last two games, alternating lines that get the night off, so it definitely will not be the full complement.
If it’s yellow leave it mellow, but if it’s brown flush it down.
Slogan from drought stricken areas of California.
A wild way to close out the home games. Scratching out a win when the Canes were the better team on the ice but the pucks kept leaking through. Good to see Stanley stay hot. Hope Chatty will be ok. Have a feeling a lot of Wolves will be on this trip. #RaiseUp
He was mad because Stank and Blake dominated him in the corner on the previous shift
I was just saying last night Roy was wrecking Schaefer and now this today!
Solid win by the Canes. Held the islanders in check most of the game. Schaefer was outmatched most of the night and the decision to put him against the Staal line by Roy is borderline hockey terrorism. Good to see him fight through to still be effective at end on the final goal. #TakeWarning
Canes clinch! Just a strong game all around. Strangled the jackets all night, even on their strong push in the second. It will be interesting to see when the Canes go into rest mode for the season. Guessing the road trip but would like to see them push for the top record in the east #TakeWarning
He always dresses like that weirdly no matter the importance of the event around the team it seems
Oh I am not defending him but conflating a hat to intention is odd. Also I have no doubt he asked for arena upgrades, he did the same in Raleigh. Not sure of the situation of arena ownership is there. He owns the arena in Raleigh. There were concerns of him moving the Canes when he bought them too
Dundon didn’t move the Whalers to Raleigh, that was the previous owner. He did bring Whalers night to the Canes. They wear the throwback gear and sell it in the stadium.
