All this is is a channel dug in the pavement with a lid on. You still have to plug and unplug the cable at both ends when you're done charging. It simple buries the cable when in use to stop people tripping up

I hope they meant on-street parking. That's my biggest barrier to getting an EV. For general day to day use a full charge is more than enough. But I'd like to charge it at home every night instead of finding a charging station. Which is what I do now with fuel
A giant redwood?
Weird how he starts 11 mins earlier in BST ๐
We know who it is. Those that can make a quick win off the contracts awarded to the detriment of everyone else.
Is this dashboard somewhere public?
I'm about to launch a DMP tool for researchers in the world of energy. Who would be a good contact to speak to to to get insights into your system?
Don't forget the car reversing down the dual carriageway!
Trouble is, you'd get more adoption from people wanting everyone to know their content/work is AI free. Some of those that use AI try to pass their work off as real and won't adhere to any guidelines set
In our latest blog, Catherine Jones reflects on six years at the Energy Data Centre upon her retirement, including how the Centre has developed, and priorities for the future.

Not sure that's the adjective that springs to mind when thinking about the Green Party. Or maybe it's just a personal attack and calling us all savages
Heat pumps are the most efficient heating technology ever invented.
They harvest and compress pre existing heat in the air, ground or water and transport it where it is needed.
That energy is all around us. It does not have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz or any other geopolitical chokepoint.
Pretty sure there's some water getting through aswell

Character encoding is the bane of my life, I'll check out TEI resources on the matter
Does the TEI deal with character encoding or file format encoding (or both)

Honestly this is almost as bad as actually catching and killing the poor fox (which does still happen despite it being banned). Just barbaric really, there's no need
Come on Sky News. He's already released a statement clarifying that he only believes Aliens are real due to the vastness of the universe, not that he's been briefed about actual aliens being real.
Noooo Haim what are you doing.
Wanted to join in but this ruby ale makes it hard to see the Silverstone brewery text!
It's #lovedataweek2026. Do you ever wonder how the #UKERC Energy Data Centre deals with data? Read our latest blog to find out more

Everything these people do is projection if you pay attention
Making me look kinda cultural here (although I am randomly close to German eSports and Celtic Fans!)
Check out @theo.io map of Bluesky, see where you're located in a galaxy of people
Whilst they're not (yet) causing me service disruptions, bots get in the way of me trying to see our legitimate users. I'm increasingly being asked who is using us and it's getting harder to give an answer!
Honestly that's all people want.
Health care without worrying about the cost.
Low bills (why electricity is still tied to gas prices I don't know!)
Good public services (transport, recreation, community spaces)
How can it be fair when I left uni 2020 and my balance was approx ยฃ70k but I check it 6 years later it's ยฃ90k! It is basically a tax because I'll be paying it until I'm 60 whatever happens
Very apt. Baltar was also very selfish and only thought of himself above all others
Interesting new analysis by the UK Energy Research Centre, which suggests that most of the increase in electricity bills since 2021 is still because of gas.
