Alternatively, you can look at yellow KRK series, though I don’t have personal experiences with them.

Yamaha HS series. Affordable, high quality, tried and tested, reasonably flat frequency response, especially if you don’t need to go below 100 Hz, also many different woofer sizes to fit your needs.

…especially since I can see heavy use of MNE under the hood already:)

Btw have you considered making a Python port of this? It would be great to integrate your package as part of an MNE analysis pipeline.

This is so cool, looking forward to a peer-reviewed version!

No no, just scan the figures and make a couple random screenshots. Empowerment level hard.

From a musician’s perspective, Spotify is just government-sanctioned piracy. It would be great if the general public was more aware of this.

Brain Dynamics of Mental Manipulation Humans effortlessly juggle their internal thoughts, but the neuronal dynamics that support mental manipulation are largely unknown. Leveraging the high spatiotemporal fidelity of intracranial recordin...

What happens in the brain when we manipulate our thoughts?

We asked 30 epilepsy patients to mentally invert short melodies.

Intracerebral #iEEG recordings suggest brain synchrony and sensory inhibition are key for mental manipulation:

You’re right about tools but I’m not sure if ai-based tools would enable people to be more creative (Lazy, if anything!). Bottom line is, you can’t substitute human creativity with ai.

Any existing gen ai system is essentially producing the most probable response to the prompt, given the training set. This makes it, by definition, not creative.

Btw the best part of it was that in the end the guy wanted a new, upgraded Mr Stud. That’s the human condition in the nutshell.

No I don't!

I actually want to save time from doing useless admin stuff, so I can spend MORE time reading, understanding and writing research papers!

I’m driven nuts by the fact that what was once a user manual is now a series of YouTube shorts.

Try „Titipo the little train”. It’s a Korean cartoon about … little trains. Made two-year-old madness more bearable for both my kids.

Just hopped on a train to Kraków, heading for #IOP2025. I’m super excited to share new results from our lab at the “Psychophysiology of Predictions” symposium on Tuesday morning (co-chaired with Marcin Leszczyński).

It’s like in Asch’s conformity experiments. Need just one dissident for group conformity to disappear.

I get that. But perhaps what you achieved with the IIT letter is that it encouraged ppl outside of the consciousness field to be more critical of consciousness theories in general. This might not be very apparent in the discourse but it’s still there.

How about something more careful, like this? :) osf.io/preprints/ps...

There are indeed. Though this “preprint” is pure shitposting and probably doesn’t help the cause in the long run.
